ATARMAxxing connects Year 12 past papers, practice exams and AI feedback. Its advertised free-marking offer runs until 1 November 2026; students should check their subject and account eligibility.
Melbourne, 25 October 2026. Looking for Year 12 past papers, practice exams or feedback on an answer? We’ve put them together on ATARMAXXING. Browse the official past-paper index, open your subject’s practice material and try AI marking. Our current banner advertises unlimited free marking for every account until 1 November 2026; check the eligibility note below before starting. There are also free revision notes and study discussions. The site covers VCE, HSC, QCE, WACE, SACE and TCE; marking availability varies by subject. Start with an answer you’ve already written. Check what’s missing, fix it, then try another question.
How do you use Year 12 past papers?
Attempt a question before reading the marking guide, compare your answer with the criteria, then rewrite the part you missed.
You finish a paper, read the answer guide and think, “I knew that.”
But did you write it?
Open the paper and put your answer beside the marking guidance. Pick one thing to fix before starting another full exam.
The Psychology index links to official papers and marking guidance. Check the study design before using an older question.
You can start with VCE Psychology past papers, QCE General Maths past papers, HSC Geography past papers or SACE Biology past papers.
Those official documents belong to the exam authorities. We link you to them. Our original practice exams and worked answers are separate.
What does the AI marker actually do?
You submit a practice question and your answer. The marker returns estimated marks, feedback and a suggested answer you can compare with yours.
If you upload a photo, check the extracted text first. A missed number or word can change the answer. Add your teacher’s rubric if you have it.
The sample shown on the website is illustrative, not a student result.
Read the feedback, then rewrite the bit you missed. Don’t just look at the score and close the tab.
AI can get things wrong. Use the official guide and your teacher’s feedback to check anything that doesn’t look right. An estimated mark isn’t an examiner’s mark.
The current free-marking promotion runs until 1 November 2026. The banner and standard access wording on the site differ, so check your subject and account eligibility on the marking page. We’re describing the advertised promotion here, not promising permanent free access.
How does it compare with AusGrader and ATAR Notes?
ATARMAXXING: Estimated marks and feedback on practice answers. Advertises unlimited free marking for every account until 1 November 2026. Check subject availability and eligibility.
AusGrader: AI grading of practice answers. 10 free graded questions, as a lifetime allowance. Standard 2026 unlimited-grading pass: $100 once, through 31 December. AusGrader pricing. It also advertises a $50 NSW offer; check eligibility. AusGrader NSW offer.
ATARNotes+: AnswerBot answers study questions using its content. Available as an option in a paid 3-, 6- or 12-month pass. One payment, no automatic renewal. Its pricing page doesn’t advertise free marking of submitted exam answers. ATARNotes+ pass details.
Public offers checked 25 October 2026. This compares access and features, not marking accuracy.
AusGrader does have free marking. ATAR Notes does have free resources. Our advertised offer runs for a limited period. Check your account eligibility and subject availability before relying on it for a study session.
Where can you ask a study question?
Use your subject’s discussion board. Reading is free; sign in to ask a question or reply.
You don’t need to write a perfect question. Show what you tried and point to the bit that doesn’t make sense.
Find your subject, read the discussions or sign in to post.
There are boards for HSC Mathematics Advanced questions, HSC Modern History discussion and VCE Revolutions discussion, alongside the other subjects.
Reading is free. You need an account to post. Share notes you wrote yourself, not textbook scans or answers to an assessment still being sat.
Find the resource you’ll use today
If you’ve forgotten the content, go back to the notes. If you know it but can’t explain it in an answer, practise the question. If timing is the problem, attempt a timed section.
Choose the resources that match your subject and the work you need to practise:
VCE Politics resources and VCE Chemistry practice exams.
HSC Health and Movement Science resources, HSC Hospitality notes and HSC Ancient History syllabus guidance.
QCE Biology resources and QCE Economics resources.
SACE Psychology resources and SACE General Maths resources.
WACE Mathematics Applications resources.
If your study session keeps drifting, use the study planner. Give yourself a task you can finish and check. Use revision flashcards for recall, then put the terms into an answer.
The exam practice predictors can help you choose practice tasks. They don’t know the exam questions. Keep the full syllabus in view.
And if you’ve spent half your session checking subject scaling or changing numbers in the ATAR calculator, leave that for later. Neither can tell you your final result. There’s still a question you can practise answering now.
Watch it, then have a go
If a video is easier to follow, try the VCE Psychology walkthrough, QCE Legal Studies video or QCE Biology video.
The Psychology article on LinkedIn goes through reviewing answers you got wrong. The Legal Studies article focuses on making evidence support your judgement.
