BigSeller outlines four inventory checks for Malaysian sellers managing products across Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop ahead of the 11.11 shopping campaign.
BigSeller has shared four inventory checks for Malaysian online sellers preparing for the 11.11 shopping period. The checklist is intended for businesses selling the same products across Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop, where separate listings may draw from the same physical stock.
Shopee Malaysia lists 11.11 among its peak shopping periods and advises sellers to prepare early and keep best-selling and seasonal products in stock. For a multi-channel seller, however, replenishment is only one part of the task. Product mapping, warehouse quantities, committed stock and channel updates also need to be checked before campaign orders increase.
Four inventory checks before 11.11
1. Confirm which listings use the same physical stock.
Review Store SKUs from each marketplace and match them to the correct Merchant SKU. Pay particular attention to colour and size variations, bundles and products listed under different names. If two listings represent the same item but are linked to different inventory records, their available quantities can move out of alignment.
2. Reconcile warehouse stock with the quantity available to sell.
Count priority products and compare the physical result with on-hand, allocated, available and promotion-reserved quantities. Units committed to existing orders or marketplace campaigns should not be treated as freely available to every connected listing. Sellers should also confirm which warehouse supplies each store or push rule.
3. Review inventory push rules and recent results.
Check that the intended SKUs, stores and warehouses are covered by each rule. Then inspect recent push records for failed, pending or skipped updates and review the recorded reason. An enabled rule can still omit a store, refer to the wrong warehouse or encounter an authorization or platform-response issue.
4. Trace a recent order through the actual workflow.
Use an existing order to verify that the Store SKU is mapped correctly, the order has synchronized, inventory has been allocated as expected and the team understands when stock is deducted during shipping. Assign a team member to review order exceptions and unsuccessful inventory updates during the campaign.
Connecting the checks in BigSeller
BigSeller connects marketplace Store SKUs with Merchant SKUs, warehouse inventory and configured inventory push rules. Its inventory management guide explains the setup sequence, while the inventory push guide covers how selected warehouse stock is used to update mapped store listings.
Sellers can also use Push Records to review recent update results and investigate unsuccessful pushes. Inventory synchronization still depends on correct SKU mapping, accurate warehouse records, valid store authorization, appropriate rules and normal data exchange with each marketplace.
Before 11.11, the objective is not simply to place a larger quantity on every listing. It is to confirm that each listing points to the correct stock, committed units are accounted for and the team knows how to identify and handle exceptions when order volume increases.
